Mission 101: Training Class

Saturday was the first Mission
101: Training Class for the Boise Vineyard. It was amazing time!

First off, we had 22 people show up. Most of them were
either going to South America next month or Central
America in March. There was a few who hadn’t decided were they
were going yet – they just wanted to learn. =)

The class covered a ton of material. Either thing from the
Biblical view of world missions to cultural egocentric to culture shock was covered
along with the basics of how to raise funds, how to keep healthy on the trip
and prayer support. The interaction
among the group was great – it kept things moving and interesting. I pray that
the information I shared will help everything on their short term mission’s
trip. =/
